I tried uninstalling and reinstalling every Port and USB on Device Manager - nothing. I tried Add New Hardware and installing the (new) Prolific drivers - nothing. ![]() The Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port remains greyed out. ![]() It's as if I mistakenly turned off my Comm Ports or When I plug it in, I don't see any changes in the Device Manager. I've been using my USB-to-Serial adapter for years until it suddenly stopped working yesterday.
